CHOIR REHEARSALS - Nine Lessons & Carols and Christmas Midnight Mass The St. Julian Eymard Adult Choir is already planning its program for the “Nine Lessons & Carols” advent celebration on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. as well as the Christmas Midnight Mass, Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at 11:30 p.m. If you have a gift for singing and would like to participate in one or both of these events, please contact the choir director, Paul Van Lysebettens at 847-985-8212 or via e-mail for details. Rehearsals will begin starting Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the church and will continue every week thereafter (the first two weeks will be on Wednesday nights followed by Thursday nights thereafter). Advent Celebration – Nine Lessons & Carols Our Annual Nine Lessons & Carols Advent Celebration will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. sponsored by the Education Commission. The event will feature the incomparable St. Cecilia Choir from St. John Cantius parish (downtown Chicago) as well as St. Julian Eymard’s own adult and children’s choirs. Tickets will be $10.00 per person to cover the expenses involved in putting on this spectacular event. Advertising space will be available in the evening’s program booklet for any persons or businesses wishing to take out an ad space. Donations toward the event are also gratefully accepted.
